After a week of clouds and rain, Edinburgh might at last be treated to a nice day of weather.
Although it is set to be a relatively cold one in the capital, locals will be able to enjoy clear skies for the first time in days.
According to the Met Office, a frosty morning will lead "into a dry, bright and fresh day with a lot of Autumn sunshine and light winds".

It also said there would be "very little cloud at all" in the city for much of the day, though skies will begin to turn grey starting around 6pm.
Temperatures will start low, resting around 5 or 6 degrees Celsius before midday, and the weather services states that it will feel even colder - noting that it will be "chilly in the shade".
Throughout the afternoon, the city will gradually warm up to a peak of 9 degrees Celsius at around 3pm, where it should remain until 7pm after which things will begin to cool down again.
By this time, skies will look fairly grey again - which, unfortunately, paints an accurate picture of the weekend ahead - as Edinburgh settles into a "cool, clear night with a widespread frost".
At least we're getting one day of sunshine. Enjoy it while it lasts.
