An Edinburgh-based Youtuber has enjoyed viral success with tour guide videos of the capital that have drawn in viewers worldwide.
With lockdown putting a temporary halt to tourism, Shaun Alexander said he had enjoyed getting out into the city with the camera and finding hidden gems for viewers to enjoy.
In his videos, Shaun takes viewers on a trip around the capital's famous streets, including the Royal Mile, and before lockdown travel rules he also explored other parts of Scotland.
He also offers free walking tours of the city, taking tourist on a sightseeing trip up the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle.
His video promoting the tour has been seen over 76,000 times on video sharing app TikTok, where he has 39,000 followers.
Shaun also shares videos on his Youtube channel, where he has over 160,000 videos.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Shaun said: "I've been doing Youtube for about six years, it's always been about showing Scotland off to the world.
"My audience is mostly from [the USA] and Canada, and over the last three months during lockdown i've had messages almost on a daily basis from people saying [they had planned to come to Scotland."

On the success of his videos, Shaun added: "People from abroad definitely want to see a locals perspective, not that many locals shout about Edinburgh or Scotland.
"Back in normal times I would get stopped by people who told me 'I came here because I seen your videos'," something Shaun said always made him proud.
Shaun took advantage of the recent wintery weather in a recent video, taking people on a tour around the city as it was covered in snow.
