Edinburgh to get Dancing Queen Brunch with ABBA tribute band and prizes for best costume

Calling all ABBA fans, there's an exciting event that you might want to know about making its way to the capital next month.

The Dancing Queen Brunch is set to celebrate all things associated with the Swedish pop legends and will see a tribute band performing all of your favourite hits.

And that's not all, you'll also get the chance to take part in an ABBA-centric quiz and even a competition to find the best-dressed ABBA fan on the day.

Taking place on June 4 at Revolutions Chambers Street, all ages are welcome but those joining in the fun can enjoy both an alcoholic (over-18s only) brunch or the non-alcoholic brunch.

A spokesperson for the brunch said: "We are so excited to be bringing our Dancing Queen-themed brunch to Edinburgh as yet again we give you the chance to dance, jive and have the time of your lives.

"During the first half of your Brunch, you will be given the most delicious beverages of dreams whilst tucking into some scran then you will be tried and tested on your Mamma Mia Knowledge in the Quiz of all Quizzes with a cheeky little prize for the Winners.

"During the second half you will find yourselves singing your hearts out to all the classic Dancing Queen Hits sang by the most amazing ABBA TASTIC tribute band!

"Fancy dress is highly encouraged and many do dress up, so get your DONNA dungarees on, dig out your flares, adjust those wigs, grab your feather boas for the 'BEST' dressed will be winning a prize."

Tickets for the event will start at £35, they can be purchased from the website, and include entry on the day, as well as the brunch – including gluten-free and vegan options and five drinks tokens.

Brunch Grill

Free-range fried eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, charred plum tomato and fried mushrooms, served with baked beans and toast.

Gluten Free Brunch Grill

Free-range fried eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, charred plum tomato and fried mushrooms, served with baked beans and sliced avocado.

Avocado Brunch – Vegetarian & Vegan

Smashed avocado on toasted sourdough, topped with tomatoes, chilli flakes, coriander and Sriracha sauce.

Blueberry, Banana & Nutella Pancakes

Stack of pancakes layered with banana, blueberry jam and Nutella, topped with fresh blueberries.
