Edinburgh online sellers advertising viral Prime drink for eye-watering prices

The viral Prime drink continues to be in high demand, after being launched by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul in December - now making it to Facebook Marketplace for staggering prices.

The popular beverage has people travelling up and down the country in hopes of securing a bottle, and we even recently told our readers the limited spots around the city where you can get it. As it turns out, some have been so desperate to get their hands on Prime they’ve been purchasing through social media.

On Facebook, several sellers have uploaded their stock of Prime to the social media platforms Marketplace section - and some of the price tags are eye-watering.

At a first glance, one seller has priced a 500ml bottle of the Blue Raspberry Prime Hydration Drink at £10. According to the advert, this is currently down from £12 - and thankfully, bulk buy is available.

The next advert shows an individual bottle of the Meta Moon Prime Hydration Drink priced at £14. Again, this is down from £15 and also with bulk buy available.

Several other sellers have priced individual bottles of the beverage between £10 and £15, whilst more reasonable Facebook users have put their prices down to £3 or £5 in a generous act of kindness.

In one bizarre sale, a Prime 'bouquet’ is advertised - which comes with a selection of sweet treats along with the beverage for just £15. As costs go for this specific refreshment, this would appear to be a reasonable price tag.

Prime first came to the UK back in October, when it was sold in Asda stores only. By December, it was eventually spreading to other outlets such as Aldi before eventually reaching spots such as Costco and Spar.

Despite these stores stocking the beverage, it remains in high demand - with some seen queuing outside Edinburgh’s Costco recently in hopes of securing a bottle.
