Police Scotland are appealing for information from the public after a 41-year-old man was reported missing in Edinburgh.
Officers say that Scott Wood was last seen in the Morningside area around 6:30pm on January 5.
He has been described as white, five foot nine inches tall with a slim build and brown hair and beard.
Officers understand the male to be wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms with white down the side, black Nike trainers with orange tick on the side.
They say there is growing concern for the whereabouts of Scott and for anyone with information to contact them.
On a public appeal on social media, Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a 41-year-old man reported missing in Edinburgh.
“Scott Wood was last seen in the Morningside area around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 5 January, 2022.
“Scott is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, slim build and has brown hair and brown facial hair. He is believed to be wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms with white down the side, black Nike trainers with orange tick on the side.
“There are growing concerns for Scott’s welfare, therefore anyone who may have seen Scott, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2499 of 5 January 2022.”
