The building is one of Edinburgh’s most famous landmarks and known for its grand decorations and is usually the first to deck their halls in festive decorations.

Although it’s another week until Halloween and a whole month until the full Festive events and decorations kick off in Edinburgh, the Dome are always ready for Christmas it seems.

The giant Corinthian columns are dressed in lavish sparkling lights each winter that will look magnificent during the dark December nights.

Sparkling lights are matched with a grand Christmas tree inside of the lavish dining area that dominates the interior.

The main pillars outside are covered in greenery with golden yellow and red lights spiralling down each of the six columns which makes the perfect festive backdrop.

The planters at the front are also covered in fairy lights, ready to twinkle as night falls.

Decorations at the Dome seem to become more popular every year with the site soon to become a Instagrammer hotspot, packed with tourists and begrudging partners getting adorable pictures in front of the stunning backdrop.

The grand Christmas decor will be up from now October 16 to January 8 so there is plenty of time to pop down for a photo.

The Dome is home to the stunning grill hall in the former banking room, luxurious Georgian tearoom and magnificent club room, the New Town venue is a dazzling place to visit for food and drink.

Putting up Christmas decorations at the plush venue early comes as no surprise as the venue opened its bookings for the festive season back in February this year.
