Watford's Nketiah interest
Newly-promoted Watford are reportedly weighing up a move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, according to the Mirror.
Nketiah, who Arsenal value at around £15million, will likely leave the Emirates this summer with just one year left on his current contract.
The 22-year-old has struggled for minutes for Mikel Arteta's men, starting just four league games this term.
He finds himself behind the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the pecking order and even fellow youngsters Gabriel Martinelli and Folarin Balogun seem to be rated higher by the Spanish coach.
With Watford after a young striker, Nketiah could fit the bill and get regular minutes for the Hornets next season.
Xhaka drops hint over future
Granit Xhaka has admitted he is open to discussing his future with Arsenal amid links to Jose Mourinho's Roma.
“Of course I read the rumours too,“ he told Swiss daily Blick, via the Mirror.
“But now I’m one hundred per cent focused on the national team. That’s more important than Arsenal or rumours right now.
“I have another two years on my contract in London and at Arsenal, they know what they have in me. When the time comes and we can, may or must talk about a transfer, I’ll be here.“
Xhaka went on to admit he is proud of new Roma boss Jose Mourinho's interest.
“Honestly, I didn’t hear what Mourinho said, but that makes you proud," the midfielder added.
“Everyone knows Mourinho and what he has achieved. Mourinho knows how to win trophies."
Woodman wants Swans stay
Arsenal target Freddie Woodman has admitted he would like to stay with Swansea City next season - despite his loan stay now having come to an end.
"It's probably been the best two years of my life playing here. I've fallen in love with the place and developed so much," he told Swansea's club website.
"I just wanted to get over the line for the city, I know how much they wanted us in that big league, so I'm absolutely gutted.
"I hope this isn't the last game I play in a Swansea shirt.
"The main thing is to sort out my next step; if that's in a Swansea shirt then brilliant but if it's not, I have to crack on and that's football."
football.london reported in January that the Gunners had the Newcastle loanee on a shortlist of players the club were looking at to solve their goalkeeping problem and that they had been tracking him since the end of the 2019/20 campaign, after his first season with the Swans.
