Eddie Howe's brilliant answer when asked if revenge is on the cards against Liverpool and Klopp

Eddie Howe insists that teams are setting up to frustrate Newcastle United in the Premier League after the Magpies' attacking style has been duly noted by top-flight competitors.

United will go in against the last team to beat them in the Premier League in the shape of Jurgen Klopp's Reds. And the last side that inflicted a home defeat on the black and whites at St James' Park.

Howe said: "It's been pivotal. We've enjoyed playing at home. I think, lately, we've been a bit frustrated as we've wanted more goals and clear cut chances.

"Teams have defended well against us with a clear plan and it's up to us to find solutions."

When asked if he "owed" Klopp's boys one after those pair of losses, Howe said: "I wouldn't say we owe Liverpool one. We owe ourselves to do our best in this game and to do everything in our power to try and win the match. I'm reluctant to use Liverpool as motivation for us - we shouldn't need that. It should come from ourselves"

The two teams clashed during the 2-1 defeat at Anfield when bottles were thrown from the dugout and Newcastle were booed off the field at the famous Merseyside venue.
