Global superstar and recession indicator (IYKYK*) Ed Sheeran is coming to Australia for the first time in two years, announcing a slew of tour dates for 2026.
He’ll be bringing his all new Loop Tour across January, February and March 2026, hitting up Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Yes, an Australian tour that hits cities outside of Sydney and Melbourne! Miracles do happen!
Sheeran’s last Australian visit saw him play to a record-breaking 200,000 fans across two nights in Melbourne, so there’s no doubt these tickets will be in hot demand.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday 29 July, but Telstra Plus Members can grab them from Friday 28 July, and Frontier Members can access pre-sale tix from Tuesday 28 July.
The tour will be in support of Ed Sheeran’s eight studio album Play, out September 12, which is being promoted as an “explorative, technicolour pop album that captures the fun, chaos and heart of an artist reinvigorated by life and travel“. “Starting a brand new tour next year called the LOOP tour,” Sheeran posted on Instagram. “New stage, new tricks, new set up, new songs and all the classics added in. We kick it off in Australia and New Zealand in Jan, Feb, March 2026, which is always the best time, I can’t wait to be back. Tickets on sale Tues 29th July, see you all there x.”
