EBay joker lists bottle of 'natural and unpasteurised' murky water from Edinburgh river for £75

An eBay joker is selling ‘crisp and refreshing’ water taken straight from an Edinburgh river for a whopping £75 a pop.

The listing describes the natural high quality of the Water of Leith, which streams through the heart of the capital.

A picture shows the product being bottled inside a previously discarded glass bottle of Irn Bru - which seller Jonb09 has described as ‘found art’.

Buyers can get their hands on the ‘unpasteurised’ water for £75 - which is around 75 times more expensive than a standard high street bottle of mineral water.

A best offer bid is yet to be made on this unusual product (eBay)

There’s also an extortionate express delivery charge of £10 added to the listing.

A description of the product reads: “We are all worried about the water that comes from the tap, who knows what is in it?

“Tap water has probably been linked to lots of problems in in-vitro studies, and possibly rodents.

“It might have fluoride in it, and all sorts of other things that you might not want.

“Feel better this year. Try some natural unpasteurised water, full of all the micro-organisms that nature intended for the water to have in it.”
