EasyJet has launched its winter schedule early due to the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus crisis.

For the past few days, there has been disruption at airports as airlines are cancelling flights due to nations closing down borders to try to control the spread of COVID-19.

EasyJet - which has waived its change fees until further notice - has launched its winter schedule early.

The airline said: “Due to the unprecedented circumstances, we’re launching our winter schedule early so that if you have an existing booking you can change to a flight for travel up until February 2021.

These are the most common symptoms of coronavirus

“We’ve waived our change fees until further notice, so you can currently amend the date and/or destination of your existing flight booking for free.

“Until midnight on Tuesday, March 24, fares for our flights from October 25, 2020 to February 28 will be available at or below £29.99 one way per person.

“easyJet holidays for the winter 20/21 season will be available to book tomorrow.

“We’re doing all we can to support our customers during these uncertain times and we thank you for your continued custom.”
