Easyjet flights between Belfast International Airport and Gatwick have been cancelled this evening.
Passengers booked on four planes from around 6-8pm are being offered the chance to rebook with the airline and a hotel room if needed.
Belfast International Airport is advising its passengers to check with their airline for updates.
The latest update from Easyjet was issued around 8pm.
They said: "We’re very sorry that your flight has been cancelled. This is due to London Gatwick runway being closed due to an air traffic control system issue.
What happens next:
"You can transfer onto a new flight. You can also arrange a refund and free overnight accommodation here on Flight Tracker by clicking the orange buttons. Alternatively you can use Manage Bookings on our website where you'll need the email and password used to make the original booking.
"We would like to offer you a hotel room for the night, should you need one, and are working with our hotel partner to book rooms. Please do not try to book your own hotel accommodation outside of Flight Tracker. If you book and pay for a hotel when we could have provided it for you, we will not be able to reimburse you for those expenses."
