EastEnders viewers spot clue Sharon's pub reign will end fast when Dotty spills truth

EastEnders viewers predict Sharon Watts' reign as Queen Vic landlady will be short-lived, after they noticed clues in Tuesday's "season finale" of the show before its extended break.

Sharon took the pub out from under Phil Mitchell's nose after he tried to buy it from Mick and Linda Carter.

Linda refused to sell it to him but Mick was desperate to sell it to someone so that Linda could be away from alcohol.

Sharon and Ian were revealed to be the shock new owners at the end of the episode, with Ian smirking next to Sharon behind the bar.

But Ian is keeping a huge secret from Sharon, and if she finds out, it could derail everything.

Dotty Cotton raged at Ian for getting her into trouble with her university, and told him she was going to tell Sharon he had a hand in her son Dennis' death at the boat party.

If Sharon finds out, she will be heartbroken and could end up leaving Walford altogether.

One fan tweeted: "Ian snd Sharon in the Vic we all know that will only last until she finds out about Dennis. #EastEnders".

"Ian's smiling now but for how long, will Dotty find a way to out Ian in revenge #EastEnders " added a third.

"What Sharon dosen't know yet is , Ian left Dennis to die on the boat #Eastenders " penned a fourth.

EastEnders has now run out of episodes amid rumours it may not be back on air until September.

In its place will be new spin-off Secrets From The Square on Mondays, followed by classic episodes on Tuesdays.

"Okay so Ian and Sharon will happily run the pub and then around Xmas/New Years, Dotty will finally tell the truth and shit will hit the fan and then Sharon will wipe her hands of Ian, he’ll move out and Phil will move back in," predicted another.
