Things are about to get rather complicated for EastEnder' Denise Fox and her young son Raymond.
New BBC spoilers reveal that Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) will tell little Raymond that he is his biological father, despite Denise making it clear she didn't want him to know.
At the beginning of next week, Phil's girlfriend Kat Slater ( Jessie Wallace ) announces the opening of ‘Kat’s Cabs’ to a small gathering - but notices that Phil is distracted by seeing Denise and Raymond.
Kat later asks Denise (Diane Parish) to reconsider letting Phil into Raymond’s life but she refuses.
Patrick later offers Denise some words of wisdom, reminding her that Phil can spend more time with Raymond without him knowing the truth.
Later that day, Denise shows up at the laundrette and asks Phil if he wants babysit for a while, much to his delight.
The father and son bond and Phil tells Raymond that one day the laundrette will be his as he explains that he is his dad.
The next day Kat is revelling in her new job but her happiness doesn’t last long when Phil tells her that he’s told Raymond the truth, and it leaves Kat stunned.
Meanwhile, Denise and Kim are left shocked when Raymond says he got a new toy from his 'daddy' and it leaves Patrick and Kim to try and calm Denise down - but she’s defiant.
In Thursday's episode, Denise will confront Phil and tell him that she refuses to let him see and spend time with Raymond again.
Phil later asks Billy why he didn’t get the courts involved when Honey took Will away.
Billy admits to Phil that he wishes he had tried and this ends up giving Phil some motivation.
He later drops an epic bombshell on Denise and it seems he's not prepared to let things go and desperately wants to be a part of Raymond's life.
Will Denise have a change of heart and allow Phil to get to know his son? Or will she go to drastic lengths to ensure he stays well away?
