EastEnders first look at new episodes teases showdown for Jack and Isaac over Amy

EastEnders has teased a big new storyline for Jack Branning and his young daughter Amy, in a new showdown with Isaac Baptiste.

It appears Amy makes a claim about her teacher or someone linked to him, which Isaac denies leading to a confrontation.

Jack actor Scott Maslen teased the new storyline on spin-off Secrets From The Square on Monday night, and hinted Amy would be up to no good,

Teasing she could follow in her troublemaker mum Roxy Mitchell's footsteps, he hinted at the chaos to come when the soap returns likely next month.

In a new clip, Jack is heard shouting at Isaac that his daughter is not a liar as she appears between him and Isaac.

Isaac protests his innocence, saying: "We’ll see," while Scott teased Amy's new turn in storyline.

He said on SFTS to Stacey Dooley: "The daughter, she’s Roxy’s kid. She’s already showing signs of Roxy.

"So, that’s going to be fun. Growing up with that little firestarter!"

The show has been off-air since June after filming stopped and episodes ran out.

But with cast and crew back filming, it's thought new episodes are just weeks away - and the look ahead at this plot and another new storyline suggests drama is on the way.

Jack's brother Max Branning is also set for tough scenes, when he learns he's been betrayed by Ian Beale.

The pair were finally getting along after years of rivalry, but it looks as though he could make an enemy of Max yet again very soon.

A devastated Max is heard screaming at Ian: "That’s my money, Ian. That’s every penny, it’s everything that I own!"

Max recently sold his share of the restaurant to Ian for safe keeping - and now fans are convinced Ian has spent it all.

He helped Sharon Watts buy The Queen Vic pub in the final episode, with many wondering how he had the money.

Viewers are convinced he's betrayed Max, and used his money on the pub instead of giving him what he was owed for the restaurant.

EastEnders returns later this year on BBC One.
