EastEnders fans confused after 'really bad' audio dubbing in scene

EastEnders fans were left confused tonight as extra audio was added into the episode.

Tonight saw Kathy cooking breakfast and chatting to Ian about Ben and his operation.

Ian walked in and said the eggs were clearly done, reassuring her that everything would be ok with Ben, who was suffering with his hearing again.

The pair turned to go into the room and that's when fans noticed the strange audio in the BBC soap.

Kathy said: "Come on this breakfast is important" but it was clearly sound that was added in later, potentially with the actress recording it from home during lockdown.

And lots of people noticed it on social media, taking to twitter to ask what was going on with the episode.

Dan said: "What was that weird audio dub?"

Becca said: "Ok what was that with the sound lol"

Davyboyuk said: "Who phoned that breakfast audio in?"

Darren said: "Did anyone else hear the really bad dubbing of "come on this breakfast is important" from Kathy."

Iain Gowers said: "Did #EastEnders just do some WFH audio...come on this breakfast is important."

Jade said: "Did anyone else hear that really bad editing of Kathy saying 'come on this breakfast is important' omg."

And @Ellarosee said: "Did anyone else clock that voiceover in #Eastenders "

*EastEnders airs Mondays and Tuesdays on BBC1
