EastEnders fans complain they are 'dizzy' as soap makes bizarre new change

EastEnders viewers were left feeling "sick and dizzy" during Tuesday's show when Kheerat Panesar and Ben Mitchell were caught up in a confrontation with a dangerous gang.

The camerawork during the tense scenes was shaky, using handheld cameras to create a more realistic and scary atmosphere - but not all viewers were fans.

One tweeted: "enough with the shaky camera please # Eastenders " while another asked: "Why are # eastenders filming with what seems to look like mobile phones? The camera is very jittery and looks so unprofessional."

A third remarked: "The way the camera man on eastenders is making me dizzy # EastEnders ", while a fourth agreed: "Why the wobbly camera action in the garage... horrible queasy and weird thank you # Eastenders ".

One angry viewer even wrote: "Whoever filmed Eastenders garage scene needs the sack, it made me feel sick watching all that shaky movement.. # Eastenders # BBC1 ".

Ben and Kheerat met with dodgy criminal Stas at The Arches amid their money laundering scheme, as Stas waved a gun around and threatened the other men.

Stas was left fuming after he discovered Ben had been calling him "mad" behind his back - and Ben discovered at the end of the episode it was in fact Kat Slater who told him that.

Ben begged: "Stas, the money is on the way mate, you've just got to trust us."

"This is a set up," replied a paranoid Stas. "That boyfriend of yours is going to ride in on his white horse to nick me, ain't he?"

But thankfully, Stas let the man go when Ben convinced him he could be making more money, flattering him, buying them time before they were able to escape when their friend arrived with the money.

* EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8.05pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:35pm on BBC One.
