EastEnders' Danny Dyer's dramatic exit plot 'sealed' in Gray Atkins revenge twist

EastEnders viewers believe Mick Carter could kill Gray Atkins in a revenge twist on the BBC soap - as others predicted he will be forced to go on the run.

It's been confirmed in spoilers that Gray's downfall is very soon, with his involvement in the murders of Chantelle Atkins and Tina Carter tipped to come to light.

Details remain under wraps, but a big week of episodes will finally see the villain exposed - while his involvement in Kush Kazemi's death has yet to be revealed.

Spolers for the episodes airing from Monday March 7 detail the moment the Carters appear to discover Gray killed Tina, days after the discovery of her body.

Shirley and Mick are left distraught to find out missing Tina, presumed to be on the run, has been found dead over a year after her murder at the hands of Gray.

Tuesday's synopsis reveals: "The pieces of the puzzle fall into place for Shirley," while Wednesday's episode details: "The walls are starting to close in on Gray, forcing him to go to desperate lengths.

"Chelsea has to think on her feet, and Mitch is left sick to his stomach by recent developments."

Wednesday's episode is part of the BBC soap's brand new showing format, with it no longer airing on Fridays.

These spoilers tease the truth about Chantelle's death is unravelling, as well as the truth about Tina's demise.

With it clear the walls are closing in on Gray, he'll be forced to try and stop his crimes coming to light - while it seems it's all too late.

This is confirmed in Thursday's episode, which reads: "With the truth about his dark past finally coming to light and numerous people with their sights on revenge, Gray realises his options are quickly running out.

"How far will he go to escape justice, and will someone else take matters into their own hands?"

Viewers are now convinced this all links to Mick's exit from the soap, after it was confirmed recently Danny Dyer had quit the role.

Taking to Twitter, many viewers guessed Mick would take revenge and have to flee - as others questioned if he would be framed for someone else taking down Gray.

Gray's fate and how the plot ends is yet to be confirmed, but fans are sure there are dramatic scenes ahead next month - with Keegan Baker, Chantelle's brother, also leaving.

One viewer tweeted: "So like, you know how Tina‘s body has now been found, and Danny is supposed to leave EastEnders, maybe Mick is the one who exposes and even kills Gray, and then either runs away, or gets arrested?"

Another wrote: "Tina's funeral in the next coming months, maybe this could lead to mick killing off gray then leaving the square only if mick and Shirley kill off Gray."

A third fan said: "My Theory: Shirley works out that Gray killed Tina. She teams up with Mick to swear revenge. Gray realises his options are running out so he decides to kill himself to avoid justice. Mick and Shirley are at the scene of the incident. Mick is framed and goes on the run."

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One, from March 7.
