
A 2.5 MAGNITUDE earthquake has been recorded just outside Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter.
According to Geoscience Australia the quake was felt just after 4am on Tuesday and was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometres.

Upper Hunter residents are no strangers to quakes. In 2018 five earthquakes were recorded in just three days south of Muswellbrook.
