Eamonn Holmes hints ITV's This Morning could be changing

It could be all change for ITV's This Morning show.

Presenter Eamonn Holmes has hinted that, in light of coronavirus lockdown, he and fellow presenter/wife Ruth could be doing the show on their sofa at home.

Eamonn suggested the idea during an interview with Joel Dommett, who was discussing his new programme which he presents from his own home, Manchester Evening News reports.

Eamonn, 60, said: "We're looking at the future really.

"I reckon not too long from now Ruth and I will be at home presenting This Morning, that’s the way it will be.

"Everybody’s programme will be done from home. I think you’re ahead of the curve."

Joel then joked: "You could be called 'Eamonn's Homes'."

Eamonn and co-host wife Ruth Langsford recently had to explain why the pair were not observing the two-metre social distancing measures.

"As regards to social distancing, now don't bother phoning in and asking 'why are these two together?'" Eamonn said last month.

"Because we are together, we live together. In case a lot of you don't know this, we actually do!"

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
