Eagles play host to former USC long snapper Jake Olson

The Eagles have had some special guests at practice this preseason. However, none were more special and inspirational than former USC long snapper Jake Olson.

Olson became blind at the age of 12 when he lost the sight in his second eye. He had lost sight in his first eye when he was a youngster.

Olson formed a bond with then-USC coach Pete Carroll and when he was ready for college went to school at USC. He also became a member of the football team and snapped for a PAT against Western Michigan.

First, USWNT star Julie Ertz came by to see her husband Zach and the team. Julie Ertz tried her foot at punting.

Then came Carli Lloyd, who tried her foot at kicking field goals.
