Eagles head coach Doug Pederson announces that Jason Peters will start at left tackle

You can never question Jason Peters’ love for his team and after a private discussion with head coach Doug Pederson, the future Hall of Famer will indeed move back to left tackle in place of the injured Andre Dillard.

Matt Pryor had been taking first-team reps at left tackle along with rookie Jack Driscoll and Jordan Mailata. With the Eagles set to face Washington and Chase Young, it was imperative for the Eagles to make the best decision for Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense.

Pryor will now likely move back to right guard, a position that he’s comfortable playing and that includes the Wild Card loss from last season.
