Eagles CB Avonte Maddox still in concussion protocol

Doug Pederson addressed the media on Wednesday morning and the Philadelphia Eagles head coach provided an update on several of his wounded Birds. Pederson confirmed that DeSean Jackson is day-to-day with an abdominal injury, while Sidney Jones will practice after suffering a hamstring injury against the Packers.

The best news that Pederson provided was on cornerback Avonte Maddox, who is still in the concussion protocol after being stretchered off and hospitalized in Green Bay.

Maddox was injured after a scary collision with Eagles safety Andrew Sendejo late in the win over the Packers. Maddox was later diagnosed with a concussion and a neck sprain but was able to fly home with the team.
