EA Sports College Football 26 Team Builder Details Revealed

Today’s College Football 26 news wasn’t just about Dynasty Mode, EA Sports also detailed this year’s improvements to Team Builder. The mode now offers more ways to personalize your team, with expanded options for pipelines, a tighter integration into the Dynasty experience and more.

Like Dynasty Mode, Team Builder is part of a long-term vision. Last year was about setting the foundation. It launched as a Beta, but now that tag is coming off. The site has been completely refreshed with a new look, it runs twice as fast and overall performance is much smoother, especially on lower-end devices.

College Football 26 builds on everything that came before it, with deeper integration into Dynasty and more tools for customization. In College Football 25, you could only upload 10 custom images per team. Now, you have a 5 MB upload limit per team. That means you can include as many custom images and textures as you want within that space, giving you more creative flexibility than ever.

The team also made sure the time and effort you put into your creations last year won’t go to waste. You can import your teams from CFB25 directly into CFB26. From the Team Builder site, just hit the Import button in the top-right corner, choose College Football 25 and you’ll see a list of every team you created. Pick the one you want, and you’ll head to the Edit Team screen, where you can review any missing assets and make updates. There are new customization options this year, so it’s worth filling those out or your team will just use the default settings. Once everything looks good, hit Submit and your team will be live and ready to download in College Football 26.

Pipelines have also been reworked to give you more control. In Dynasty Mode, you can now fully customize where your Team Builder school has recruiting influence and how strong that influence is. Each pipeline is ranked from Tier 1 to Tier 5, with Tier 5 being the strongest. You can adjust each one to reflect your school’s backstory or your own recruiting strategy.
