EA has temporarily disabled the Clubs Foundations Objectives in EA FC 26, following reports of broken progression and some unregistered rewards. The official Sports FC Direct Communication account on X issued a very vague statement that these objectives have been temporarily removed “to address an issue,” and no timeline was given for their return.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, Clubs Foundations Objectives are like the starting point for any of you who first dive into the social Clubs mode. Completing these objectives teaches you key mechanics, reward coins and XP, and unlocks the transfer market. Pulling the plug on these objectives leaves new players without a clear path to progress, at least until they make a return.
Beyond Clubs Issues
EA itself hasn’t specified what the issue is or what even caused it, but the community already has a decent idea. There have been dozens of reports across Reddit and X that describe a pattern of tracking failures, missing XP, and objectives that don’t register or refresh. Some even claim that their post-match progress disappears entirely.
Unfortunately, the issues aren’t just limited to Clubs. The temporary suspension of Foundation Objectives just adds to a growing list of frustrations in FC 26. I myself am tired of the whole spinning meta and fundamental issues that damage the experience. Manager and Player Career Mode objectives have also been reportedly broken for two weeks now, as highlighted on social media by several players.
Meanwhile, PC users are experiencing lag, stuttering, and frequent disconnections. These were issues that were supposedly fixed in the previous update, but that’s certainly not the case. EA did apparently fix the kickoff goals issue with the update earlier, though.
If you skim through online forums, you’ll find that many players are furious because of all these issues. It’s hard to blame them, though, when you consider these people paid $70 for a game that keeps having new issues every week.
