Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins has earned himself an individual honor for his performance in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Haskins is the NFL Pepsi Rookie Of The Week as a result, as seen in the tweet above, which the quarterback himself uses to salute his teammates.
As for Haskins, he threw for 261 yards and two scores in the loss, completing 67.9 percent of his passes and posting a gaudy average of 9.3 yards. Even the passer rating at 121.3 was a career-high.
This performance comes after Redskins coaches have made it clear Haskins is growing by leaps and bounds during this developmental stretch.
It’s clear some outside the organization see the strides he’s making too.
