Duran Duran are set to tour once again - and it seems as though Glasgow fans of all ages are unsurprisingly thrilled.
The rock band, who formed in 1978, are famous for songs such as Ordinary World, Rio, Girls on Film and Hungry Like the Wolf - to name a few.
As part of their highly-anticipated 2023 Future Past UK arena tour, the band will play across several dates travelling around the UK including one stop in our city.

Duran Duran Glasgow gig date
The iconic band will take to the stage of Glasgow's OVO Hydro on May 9 2023.
The tour will kick off at Manchester’s AO Arena on April 29 before making their way to Scotland. As they take to the stage of Glasgow, it will mark the band’s return to the city, and the OVO Hydro, for the first time since 2015.
Whilst there is only one date at the time of writing, more dates could soon be announced.

At present, no support has been announced for the Glasgow gig.
Simon Le Bon said: “2022 has been an extraordinary year for Duran Duran - mainly down to the incredible fans we have around the world. In July we celebrated our years together at Hyde Park as part of the British Summer Time Festival. Next Spring we will be back on home soil once again to continue the party.
"It’s remarkable to me that as a band, we are still hitting new milestones, still able to introduce the sound of DD to new generations of music lovers. We are truly grateful that we get to do what we do on a daily basis, and that we still love our job as much as we did when we started out some four decades ago."
