Two men have been arrested following an alleged disturbance involving a knife at a Motherwell tower block.
Police attended Anderson Tower in the town regarding reports of a disturbance involving males with weapons, including a meat cleaver style knife, at around 6pm on September 22.
Two men, aged 31 and 23, were arrested in relation to the alleged incident.
Following the arrest the men were said to be abusive and threatening to the attending officers with a 31-year-old alleged to have spat in the face of an officer.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal regarding the alleged incidents.
Elsewhere, a 29-year-old man was arrested at Wishaw General on September 23 where he is alleged to have behaved in a threatening and abusive manner.
The man is also alleged to have assaulted police officers by head-butting and kicking at officers before spitting on them.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal regarding the alleged incident.
Police are also investigating a report of theft from a motor vehicle at Nevis Drive, Motherwell.
The incident took place on September 22 at 9.40pm. The potential suspect is described as white, male, wearing dark jogging trousers, dark grey hoodie and a dark jacket.
The man thought to be involved is said to have tried other car doors in the area, with police urging residents to keep homes and vehicles locked and secure.
