Temperatures will hit the high teens once again across the city today but forecasters say the weather will take a turn for the worse as the weekend approaches.
Today will be rather cloudy with highs of between 15 and 18C.
The warm weather will continue on Friday afternoon with temperatures set to hit 15 or 16C.
But Met Eireann say the weather will become much more changeable on Friday night when some scattered showers forecast.
The rest of the weekend will follow much the same pattern, with scattered showers expected throughout the weekend.
Met Eireann say: "Saturday will see sunny spells and scattered showers. Overall there will be a lot of dry weather in mostly light northerly breezes.
"Maximum temperatures ranging from 13 degrees in the north to 18 degrees in the southwest.
"It will become generally dry on Saturday night with lowest temperatures of 7 or 8 degrees in light breezes.
"Sunday will start dry with sunshine. In the afternoon a few showers will develop but there will be further sunny spells as well.
"Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees. Northwest winds will be light to moderate.
"It looks like Monday and Tuesday will be largely dry days with sunshine at times.
"Quite warm with afternoon temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees. From Wednesday onwards it is likely to become more unsettled."
