What's happy about this one? Ehhhh, absolutely nothing because it's going to bucket down from the heavens today and over the next few days.
Things look a bit promising on Saturday with temperatures of 20C hitting in the capital but even that glory will be short lived as the mercury will drop to 13C by Sunday afternoon.
It's not all bad news though, current Met Eireann indications suggest that there will be a slight improvement at the start of next week.
There will be a small rise in temperatures they say, hopefully small enough to see a string of days with 20C on the temperature gauge.
As for today, it will be a cloudy and breezy day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle and the low cloud will make it misty over the hills with the rain heavy at times.
Highest temperatures of 17 to 19C will drop to 10C with further patchy rain overnight.
Here's how the weekend and start of next week are looking:
Saturday: "Another cloudy day overall with further outbreaks of rain. There'll be drier spells at times. Highest temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees in a moderate to fresh southwest or west wind."
Sunday: "There'll be outbreaks of rain in the west and northwest, with the south and southeast faring better with perhaps some sunny spells developing. Temperatures on the low side in the west and northwest at around 13 degrees and up to 17 degrees in the southeast. Strong westerly winds will steadily ease through the day."
Monday: "There'll be showers in the northwest but elsewhere will become drier with some sunshine breaking through later. Temperatures will recover to near normal for the time of year with light to moderate west to northwest winds."
Tuesday: "Currently looks dry and sunny with light westerly winds and temperatures around normal for the time of year."
