Dublin has been voted the best destination in Ireland for nights out.
Home to hundreds of bars, pubs, and nightclubs, the capital has been crowned the best in the country for its vibrant nightlife.
A survey revealed 30% voted Dublin as the top destination for lads’ nights out and a further 26% for girls’ nights out.
A total of 36% of Dubs also revealed that they spent about an hour or longer getting ready for their big night, figures from Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels found.
On the other hand, those from Munster spent the longest amount of time with some respondents spending as much as three hours in total getting decked out.
Galway was voted second best city for nights out with Cork ranked third best.
Suzanne Cannon, head of marketing at Jurys Inn, said: “The new research is a light hearted look at the time and effort people spend getting ready while also looking at our favourite destinations for nights out and romantic breakaways.”
