The EPIC museum is set to reopen its doors to visitors on June 29.
The popular tourist spot will be open seven days a week and has implemented a number of measures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Some of the major changes which will be put in place are reduced visitor numbers, designated time slots, touch-free screens, increased cleaning, downloadable audio guides, and cashless payments.
Additionally the museum has also announced some fantastic events for children and teens this summer.
For under 5s
Kids under five will have the chance to join Irish pirate Anne Bonny in an adventure of a lifetime through Tiny Tots: Summer Storytelling on August 11.
This virtual interactive story session will be delivered via Zoom where you and your little one can sing songs, draw pictures, and meet exciting characters including the Jeanie Johnston Famine Ship, victorious Vikings, the nautical navy, and a singing submarine.
Tickets cost €5.
Kids 12 and under
EPIC Explorers “Imagination Camp” is another fun virtual event for children 12 and under as they will learn about famous Irish diaspora figures like explorer Ernest Shackleton and astronaut Neil Armstrong.
The Imagination Camp will take place from July 13 to 17 and will be held via Zoom.
Tickets are priced at €5 per workshop or €15 for five.
Teens
Teens can dive into EPIC Innovators 'Stories That Move Camp' which will explore the history of Irish storytelling.
You can try your hand at everything from biographical and creative writing, to oral storytelling, theatre and visual media tasks.
The event will take place in August and a two day ticket costs €20.
