Dublin road carnage as dramatic car chase and collision spree ends with gardai making arrests

Gardai have arrested a man, a male teenager, a boy and a woman after a dramatic car chase through south Dublin this afternoon.

The pursuit did not end there, as the car involved fled the scene.

It later came to a halt in Tallaght, but not before colliding with an official Garda vehicle.

Gardai arrested the three occupants of the car - a man aged in his 20s, a teenager in his late teens, and a male juvenile.

A woman was also arrested at the scene for public order offences.

The three detained males are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Garda Stations in south Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing and gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact them.
