Dublin Aerospace is looking for apprentices for two roles

Dublin Aerospace is looking for apprentices for two aircraft maintenance based roles.

If you’ve always dreamt of working on aircrafts then this might be perfect for you.

The roles include Aircraft Technician Apprenticeship and Landing Gear MAMF Apprenticeship.

Applications are now open for both and the deadline is February 29.

Aircraft Technician Apprenticeship

Successful candidates will have the chance to learn how an aircraft and its systems work.

Your role will be to inspect, maintain, and repair airframe structures, engines, electrical, and avionics systems.

The apprenticeship lasts a minimum of four years and will have both p[ractical hands on and classroom based aspects.

You will need a C at Ordinary Level or a D at High Level in the Junior Certificate (or the equivalent) or an the minimum of an O6/D in the Leaving Certificate in ordinary level in the required subjects which can be found on the website.

Applicants will also need to be over 18 years of age, permitted to live in Ireland without restriction, be able to pass a full security and background check, and a colour, vision, and medical assessment.

Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) Apprenticeship

The duties of MAMFs involve maintenance and repair of aircraft parts, replacing broken or worn parts, servicing parts, and installation of plant and machinery.

The apprenticeship will take a minimum of four years with plenty of both hands on and classroom experience.

Successful candidates will have a keen interest in the aviation industry, the ability to understand technical information and diagrams, be able to follow written instructions and record actions taken amongst others.

You will need a C at Ordinary Level or a D at High Level in the Junior Certificate (or the equivalent) or an the minimum of an O6/D in the Leaving Certificate in ordinary level in the required subjects which can be found on the website.

Applicants will also need to be over 18 years of age, permitted to live in Ireland without restriction, be able to pass a full security and background check, and a colour, vision, and medical assessment.
