MUMBAI: The Airport police arrested a newly-married couple and later released them on bail reportedly after they were spotted fighting on the road outside a five-star hotel near the domestic airport late on Friday.
The couple (names withheld) were drunk and calling themselves ‘Zombie-Zombie’ and hitting each other when a police constable spotted them and tried to pacify them, failing which they were taken to the police station.
The fight began when the husband refused to take his wife to a lounge bar at that late hour. Cops registered a case of affray against the couple who had checked into the star hotel after they got married on February 22. During the fight, they even had a scuffle with the constable,” said a police officer.
