Drivers set for three days of disruption on roads near Braehead

Drivers are facing disruption on the roads near Braehead for the next three days.

Scottish Water will be carrying out a programme of CCTV survey work on King's Inch Road from tomorrow (Monday), prompting warnings to motorists of possible delays to journeys.

Traffic management will be in place to allow for investigation work, and it's expected to take around three days for completion.

During this time, King’s Inch Road will be down to one lane for a stretch on both sides of the carriageway at the roundabout at Laymoor Avenue (just near to the entrance to Braehead shopping centre) from 9.30am until 3.30pm each day.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: "Work will take place out with peak travel times each day to help minimise disruption.

"Local residents and road users are thanked in advance for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential survey work on our sewers."
