Fast food fans are being warned they risk a £200 fine and six points on their driving licence, if they're caught paying for food at a drive-thru.
We use our phones to pay for many things, and it's become habitual to get it out instead of your debit card when making a purchase.
However, you could be hit with a fine and penalty if you pay with it at a drive-thru, Manchester Evening News reports.

This is because - even though you're on private land and at a halt - you could be breaching rules on using a handset while driving.
The RAC's guide to mobile phone laws states: "If your engine is running, your phone should be nowhere near your hands. This is still the case if the engine stops automatically to save fuel (called 'start-stop technology)"
Following up from this advice, RAC spokesperson Rod Dennis told Mirror Money: “Every driver should always ensure they are parked and have their engine switched off before using a handheld phone.
Rule 149 of the Highway Code states “You MUST exercise proper control of your vehicle at all times.
"You MUST NOT use a hand-held mobile phone, or similar device, when driving or when supervising a learner driver, except to call 999 or 112 in a genuine emergency when it is unsafe or impractical to stop.”
Using your debit card instead is something to think about when you’re on your next McDonald's run.
