A car was left flipped over onto its side after a crash in south Manchester.
Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the two-car smash on Palatine Road in Didsbury at around 9.30am this morning (Thursday).
One woman had to be rescued from a car, the fire service said.
Another person was also treated at the scene but police said they both escaped with minor injuries.
Pictures taken at the scene show a red car flipped over its side.
Several emergency service vehicles, including two fire engines, were stationed on Palatine Road near The Christie Day Nursery.
TfGM said the road was cordoned off between Lapwing Lane and Burton Road.
It has since reopened.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called at about 9.30am on Thursday 8 April 2021 to reports of a road traffic collision on Palatine Road, Manchester.
"Two cars were involved and there were no serious injuries reported.
"NWAS and GMFRS also attended."
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just before 9.30am this morning (Thursday 8 April), two fire engines from Moss Side and Withington fire stations were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars on Palatine Road, Manchester.
“Crews arrived quickly and GMFRS trauma technicians attended to two people at the scene.
"One woman was rescued from a vehicle by firefighters and conveyed into the care of colleagues from NWAS.
“Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour and a half.”
