A driver who reportedly pretended to give her details after hitting another vehicle in a car park was caught out by a sharp-eyed mum.
The incident is said to have happened yesterday in the car park in Asda, Bromborough.
The mum posted on a Facebook crime group to say she had spotted a woman in her 60s pretending to write down her details after her Skoda hit a silver Citroen.

The mum said she spotted the sneaky culprit in the act and how the woman then drove away to another parking space to cover her tracks.
However, the woman who reportedly hit the Citroen with her Skoda didn't bank on the quick-witted mum who saw her actions and noted down her registration number.
The mum's post read: "To the lovely 60ish year old lady in the pinkish top in Bromborough Asda at 11:50 today driving the puke green Skoda Yeti that hit the silver C1 as you pulled into the parking space.
"You pretended to write your details down until the lady next to you got in her car and drove away, then you got into your own car and moved spaces (without noticing me taking down your reg number) and you didn't leave your details for the owner of the other car.
"Well I circled round to see if you had and, unluckily for you, the lady was at her car so I handed her your reg number and what time it happened and showed her where you had parked.
"You do know it is against the law to drive off after hitting a car without leaving your details.
"I hope the lady did wait for you to come back out and that it gets sorted.
"To the lady who's car that was hit if your insurance needs an eye witness statement, message me as [I] didn't give you my number."

The mum's post was an instant hit, receiving nearly 700 likes and over 100 comments.
One woman replied to say it was her partner's car that was hit and thanked the mum for taking down the Skoda driver's details which led to her being found.
She posted: "It was my partner's car that got hit, she did wait for the lady who hit her to return and we have her details to get her to pay for damages.
"Thanks so much for taking her details down, it wasn't a lot of damage but enough that we're going to need to get it sorted."
One person asked what the woman's face like when she realised she had been rumbled?
The partner of the person whose car was hit replied: "Her response was 'Oh I did write details down but the wind must of blew it away'".
After reading that the woman had been found and spoken to, the mum who spotted her replied: "I'm so happy to see this, [I] bet she was shocked to see someone waiting haha, considering she had moved her car away to try and hide it....if she tries to get out of it and you need to go through insurance I will be happy to give a statement xx".
