This is the aftermath of a horror crash in which the driver of the car miraculously escaped uninjured.
Police were called to the scene on Lees New Road, between Oldham and Ashton Under Lyne , at around 7pm on Monday evening (December 30).
It's understood the driver of the Honda CR-V may have suffered from a medical episode, and that the car collided with a lamp post.
The car then rolled 'spectacularly' into a field, police say.
The driver fortunately escaped with no injuries.
Shocking pictures of the aftermath show the car on its side, with front windscreen completely smashed and a huge dint at the front of the car.
In a tweet, GMP Traffic said there are currently delays between Oldham and Ashton because of the collision.
The tweet said: "Delays between @GMPOldham and @GMPAshton after this Honda CR-V collided with a lamp post on Lees New Road and rolled spectacularly into a field.
"Fortunately no injuries after what was possibly a medical episode at the wheel.
"Boots may need a once-over."
