A driver has hit out at 'confusing charges' after he paid twice to park all day.
Graham O'Hara paid £5 to park all day at the Nottinghamshire facility as part of an introductory offer.
He first parked there for three hours on Friday but thought he could leave and come back later using the same ticket.
He returned to the Broadmarsh Car Park for an hour-and-a-half in the evening, when going out for his wife's birthday.
But he was furious when he had to cough up £4.60 for parking for less than two hours, which totalled £9.60 throughout the day.

Mr O'Hara has branded the car park policy confusing.
He told NottinghamshireLive : "It was unclear what is promoted - but, with number plate recognition and modern technology, surely that's an easy thing for them to do.
"I think I might be in a minority but I think it would be good if I'm honest to not have to pay again and to be able to use the car park like that. I think it's a bit of an opportunity missed."
The parking offer lasts until October 14 when prices will return to normal rates.
The cost to park for two hours will be £4.60, four hours will cost £6.80, six hours will cost £10.50, eight hours will cost £14 and 24 hours will cost £16.
Ian Taylor, chairman of the Alliance for British Drivers, said: "It's not usually normal for people to pay and then come and go. So I don't think the council is being unreasonable, provided there is signage to make it clear that you cannot return without paying again."
Nottingham City Council did not wish to comment on the car park which opened on November 1.
