A driver fled the scene after crashing into a parked van in County Durham.
The driver of a silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Ford Transit van in Second Street, Blackhall Colliery, at around 2.15pm on Sunday.
The driver of the Corsa ran off towards Hardwick Street.
Police said he is white, tall, of slim build, and around 20 years old.
He was wearing a blue/green jacket and blue tracksuit bottoms.
Police said no-one was injured in the incident.
