A man has been arrested on suspicion for drink driving after crashing his car in Wirral.
The driver of a black Mercedes was involved in a smash in West Kirby last night which left his car seriously damaged. He was arrested by officers, and police say the man had spent an afternoon in the pub.
He was taken to hospital where he refused to provide an evidential sample of blood. He will now be summonsed to appear at court.
