Video footage shows the moment a caravan became engulfed in flames in Ardwick.
Smoke could be seen billowing into the sky when the blaze broke out near business units on Temperance Street tonight (Monday).
Police and fire crews attended the scene just after 8pm.
Northern Soul Grilled Cheese tweeted a video of the fire, saying: "Fire on Temperance Street, for anyone that has units down there.
"(Fire service called and are on scene)."
Dan, who works for Northern Soul, said: "A massive cloud of smoke came across the road and I saw the flames above the tracks.
"I thought it was a unit as we know a couple of firms down there.
"I called fire and they were rapid."
A fire service spokesman said there were no reports that anyone was inside the caravan at the time.
No one was reported to have been injured.
He said: "We were called to a vehicle fire on Temperance Street, two crews from Gorton attended.
"A caravan was alight in the road way, near to the railway tracks. Network Rail were informed of the smoke.
"The fire service brought it under control in 30 minutes. We have no reports of anyone injuries or anyone inside the caravan at the time."
