In a social media post they said: "We were called to assist the Police and Scottish Ambulance Service in extracting an injured walker from a slippy track at Pressmennan Lake in East Lothian.

"She had slipped and broken her ankle. Several fallen branches were cleared from the path, and the SORT vehicle was able to make it through to give the casualty a speedy journey to the waiting ambulance. Many thanks to the folks at Woodend for their local knowledge and tree clearing skills!"
