A double-decker bus has caught fire near a hospital in central London.
The back of the number 88 bus burst into flames at around 6.50am outside Portland Hospital on Great Portland Street.
Passengers were safely evacuated from the bus and no injuries were reported.
Video footage posted on social media shows London Fire Brigade arriving at the scene, as smoke billows into the sky.
Commuters standing under umbrellas watched on as cars continue to pass on the opposite side of the road.
Roads were closed in both directions.
London Fire Brigade brought the blaze, near Great Portland Street Tube station, under control by 7am.
The cause of the fire is yet unknown.
