Dramatic footage shows cops swarm Glasgow street as man arrested in connection with 'disturbance'

A man has been arrested after a large number of police descended on an incident in Glasgow.

Around 14 cop cars, including unmarked vehicles, were spotted on Melville Street in the Pollokshields area of the city at around 12.50pm on Saturday afternoon.

Officers from Police Scotland could be seen racing into a property on the street as vehicles swarmed on the incident.

Cops confirmed that a man has been arrested in connection with the alleged disturbance.

A Police Scotland statement read: "A man has been arrested in connection with a disturbance."
