Drag Race UK Scot Lawrence Chaney bags another win as Lorraine Kelly joins RuPaul on panel

Lawrence Chaney has done Scotland proud once again with another win on the UK edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The Glasgow -based queen was praised for her role as an agony aunt as the contestants gave their take on a stereotypical morning TV talkshow for this week’s challenge.

And who better to mentor the queens for the challenge than Scots TV host Lorraine Kelly, who was also the guest judge on last night’s episode of the hit BBC Three show.

The ITV star was also blown away by Lawrence Chaney’s terrifying runway look - which was a tribute to Hollywood horror classics.

Writing about the look on Instagram, Lawrence said: “Serving you BODY! For this look, I wanted to pay tribute to ‘The Bride of Frankenstein’, ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ and I’m gay so I had to throw in some ‘Sweeney Todd’ for good measure!

“This is one of my favourite looks as it incorporates the camp elements of my drag and mashes them with Horror!”

Lawrence has continued to win fans across the UK as she went on to claim her second Ru Peter Badge in a row.

The drag artist also won last week’s challenge with a dazzling gold number and said at the time: “I am the original golden girl.

"I may look like a forty year old mother but this forty year old mother has this win in the bank.

"I've got more than just a gold finger. I've got a gold fist."

When Lawrence was told to wear the second badge with pride for Scotland last night, she replied: “Always babes.”

Dundee's Werk Room representative, Ellie Diamond, also did enough to keep herself in the contest.
