Doug Pederson provides an update on status of Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and others

Doug Pederson met with the media on Monday to address the Eagles injury situation from Sunday night and the Birds head coach had nothing new to offer. With the Eagles arriving home about six-hour ago, Pederson said that he hasn’t had a chance to meet with the medical staff.

Pederson did provide some insight on how serious the injuries were to DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery. The Eagles head coach admitted that both players likely would have “gutted it out” if the game was a “must-win” scenario.

Pederson confirmed that Jeffery (calf) and Jackson (groin), were both injured during the first inital moments of the ball game, with both guys logging less than 11 plays each. Pederson also confirmed that Dallas Goedert re-injured his calf during pregame warmups.

Pederson went on to say that he “feels that in his gut”, Jernigan’s injury could be the worst of the group.
