This was meant to be the season it all clicked for Manchester United and they mounted a series Premier League title challenge.

Wan-Bissaka a bright spark
It wasn’t all doom and gloom on Saturday.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka ’s performance at right-back was a joy to behold, and not just defensively.
Recalled to the starting line-up following his Champions League suspension, Wan-Bissaka showcased his attacking talents which hasve often been lacking in his time at Old Trafford.
Following a summer in which the club were linked with a replacement right-back, Wan-Bissaka’s performance would not have gone unnoticed by the coaching staff.

Now or never for Van de Beek
One player who wasn’t able to impress the coaches on Saturday was Donny van de Beek.
The Dutch midfielder was an unused substitute once again.
In a week where he made the headlines for the wrong reasons following his outburst after not playing against Villarreal, Van de Beek will surely be thinking it’s now or never at United.
Fans are clamouring to see him play in place of either Fred or Scott McTominay and if the former Ajax star is to have any future in red, he must be given a run of games following the international break.
